Photography Disclosure
By submitting your registration, you are consenting to your photo being taken during the TPHA Conference and used for marketing and/or promotional purposes.
Cancellation Policy
All conference registration cancellations must be made in writing before May 1st. All cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative fee. Once cancellation correspondence has been received, participants will receive a confirmation of cancellation notice. If payment has been processed for the registration, a refund will be issued minus the $75 administrative fee.
If payment has not been received, accounting will send an updated invoice for the $75 administrative fee. Texas Public Health Association (TPHA) reserves the right to retain or collect conference fees in full for those who fail to cancel prior to May 1st, or for those who fail to attend. Substitutions: If you register but are unable to attend, another representative of your agency may attend in your place.

Student Member Annual Education Conference Stipends

Silent Auction
We invite you to contribute a silent auction item that can help us achieve our fundraising goals. Here are some ideas you might consider donating:
- Gift Cards to local businesses or restaurants
- Handmade crafts or artwork
- Themed gift baskets
If you are interested in donating, please let us know by May 10th to allow us time to prepare the bidding sheets and you can drop off your item(s) between 12 noon and 5 pm on Monday, May 18th or when you arrive at the conference.
Fellows Community Project
This year’s project partners with the SEARCH Homeless Services Program of Houston in creating snack packages for the homeless. Conference attendees will assemble the snack packs, and SEARCH Homeless Services will pick up the completed packages midday on Day 2 of the AEC.
Following the guidance of the SEARCH Homeless Services Program four items were chosen for inclusion in small Ziplock style bags. Each package will contain one each of:
• Applesauce pouches
• Granola bars
• Vienna sausages
• Cheese crackers
Using Costco or Sam’s bulk purchasing, the cost to assemble 650 packages will be $1200.

Awards Banquet (Wednesday, May 20th 6:30 pm-11:00 pm)
At TPHA, we truly value our members and the service they provide to our organization. We have a long history of recognizing outstanding leadership and service within our membership, beginning with the very first TPHA Annual Meeting back in 1923, where the grand prize winner assumed the Presidency of the organization! We don't do THAT anymore, but every year, at our awards ceremony, we honor members who have provided outstanding service not only specifically to this organization, but to the practice of public health in general.
We will be having a fun evening, complete with a full buffet, award presentations, photobooth, music and dancing! This special event is included with your registration fee but if you decide to bring a guest to accompany you there will be an additional charge for your guest’s ticket. The extra ticket is $100.
